Aparna was born in the southern Indian state of Kerala in 1989. She was a child art prodigy who exhibited great talent in painting from a very young age. Having won more than 300 awards in various painting competitions conducted for children both in India and internationally, she was well known among the art loving community in her home state. However, she chose to pursue her higher studies in Engineering owing to her academic excellence in school and her scientific inclination. During the course of her training and work in Engineering and research, art made its appearance in her life as an occasional hobby. A true artist at heart and soul, she realized that her fulfillment lies in artistic expression and decided to dedicate more time into creating art. Aparna is a full time artist since 2019. Besides being an artist, she is an avid reader, writes poetry occasionally, travels a lot and photographs her journeys.
